Steve Poltz (1) 10/24/2008

[Steve Poltz of the Rugburns, well worth seeing]
My wife and I went to Anthology to see Steve Poltz and were really pleasantly surprised at what an amazing show it was. Formerly of the Rugburns Steve Poltz had a lot of humorous songs that he played also that were from his former band. His music is really... Full Review

Dynamite Walls (1) 3/26/2008

Dynamite Walls were just ok for me. The first song was a rocker, but after that nothing really grabbed me. The third song was titled " Run ". I didn't catch the name of the fourth song, but I heard a girl next to me say "this is my... Full Review

Get Back Loretta (1) 3/26/2008

Opening Act For Dynamite Walls
[Our band’s all growns up]
Having seen Get Back Loretta a few times over the last couple of years, I believe they have hit their stride. The boys came out and delivered a passionate performance, we're tight and definitely the best band of the night. One of the songs "... Full Review

Sea of Cortez (1) 3/26/2008

Opening Act For Dynamite Walls

[Jake Shimabukuro]
I took my wife to see Jake play and it was a show that was very impressive. This guy plays the Ukulele and amazingly well at that. His influences and songs were extremely diverse. Everything from George Harrison, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, classical,... Full Review

Matt Nathanson (1) 11/6/2007

Matt was pretty entertaining with his funny banter about Dog the Bounty Hunter and how certain songs were about/dedicated to him. “This next song is about his chest hair.” A few songs later he says “This is kind of like Jesse’s Girl, I stole it from Rick... Full Review

[We got love.]
This was another free show from 102.1 KPRI at this venue. It’s a cool place to see a show and this time we got to eat dinner. It was good…I’ll leave it at that since this isn’t a food review website. But I will say that eating with the music is a good... Full Review

Ozomatli (1) 8/6/2007

As usual, Ozomatli puts on a high energy, groovin’, shake your ass performance. This 9 piece band from Los Angeles has a heavy Latin tone but also brings the funk and every once in a while a little hip hop. You’re guaranteed a good time if you see them... Full Review
