Salazar started the set off with "Swan Song." A few songs later they played "Behind You." Around this time is when they played the song that grabbed my attention and was the deciding factor is checking these guys out live tonight..."The Delegate." It wasn't the highlight I thought it would be, but the lead singer/guitarist played some good leads at the end of the song. There was another song where he added some nice leads. The vocals weren't great for me. After listening to their EP (The Great Decay), which they gave away free at the show, his vocals reminded me of the guy from Barenaked Ladies. Especially on the song "Split Up." On a positive note, the band as a whole were tight. And the drummer was solid, his fills and beats complemented the music nicely.
