Honeyhoney is an interesting little group. You've got Suzanne on violin and banjo, Ben on guitar with a kick drum (for good measure) and Wendy? in the back playing bass. Since I wasn't familiar with their music I found it curious that they would play several (3) covers songs. The third song was a Jackson 5 tune, they covered Smashing Pumpkins "1979" and I believe the last number was a Dixie Chicks cover. At least, that's what I overheard someone say. Now, for an opening act to dedicate three songs of their brief (40 minute) set seemed like two covers too many.

Regardless, they were entertaining. Suzanne was having a bit of fun and that's always good to see. One funny moment I remember was when she made a comment about Lo Dangles, which at first didn't make sense then she said Ben said that would be his porno name. Ben said "I never said that...it's Rex Dingles."
