Kathleen did Canada proud tonight and I enjoyed every bit of it. Whether she was singing by herself or rocking with the band her strong vocals, good music and enthusiasm came across loud and clear.

Here are some of the highlights for me. The fourth song was a cool bluesy (?) rock number that I really dug. She played the song "Scared at Night" solo, which was a song she wrote for her father. Kathleen told a rather funny story how a reviewer got the whole translation of the song wrong, even referring to her father as "late" when he is in fact still living. She told a few amusing stories actually, one about Bryan Adams that led into an incomplete (but entertaining) version of "Summer of 69." Another song that stood out was the first song of the encore which I don't know the title of. This was followed by "Goodnight, California", which was another really good song.
