My girlfriend’s brother turned me onto this band and I really got into the CD (And the Glass Handed Kites). So I was certainly happy to see them coming to San Diego and in particular to the Belly Up. They put on a good show, but the sound guy kind of ruined it for me. (It definitely wasn’t the venue because I’ve been here for a ton of gigs) The music overwhelmed the vocals so much you could barely hear them. The last couple of songs got a little better in that regard.
