The venue was close to full as these guys started to play and it was difficult to hear because of all the talking. Shut up people! It didn’t help that they started the set off with just an acoustic guitar and a violinist. After a couple songs the lead singer made the comment “we’re gonna rock out a bit,” then he busts out the accordion. Huh? I made a comment to my girl about some polka music and sure enough we got a sample. A couple songs later they invited Tanya to sing. I think the name of the song was “Stay with me now.” She came back out at the end and finished the set with them. The whole experience just wasn’t good for me.
