I go to see live music to watch people play instruments, so when the Super Furry Animals (that's a false claim, only one dude is super furry) start the set by hitting a button on a laptop then walk onto the stage, that is automatically a strike against them. Also, walking out with a Voltron like helmet is kind of gimmicky. It was pretty funny though, I have to admit. And he walked into the crowd and sang part of the first song among us. But after that the Super Furry Animals played like a real band and it felt like the laptop and helmet were unnecessary. I didn't hear the entire set, but only one song really stood out for me and I think it was the fourth one.
