I wasn't at all familiar with Years Around the Sun and have never heard any of their music. Sometimes that is a good thing, but unfortunately that wasn't the case here.

The live show wasn't horrible but certainly didn't do anything for me. They tried hard. It just seemed that the vocals from the guitar player were struggling and when the bass player sang it was very monotone. (I was thinking to myself..."I can't wait to hear Transfer play through this sound system.") And the girl keyboard player seemed a bit nervous. She looked at the guitar player the entire set. This band could have potential, but the biggest hurdle seems to be the lack of identity. They sounded like a different band on every song. Work it out.
