The Breeders are one of those bands from the 90's that were fairly popular, but I never really dug into their music. Of course, I know the single that put them on the mainstream map..."Cannonball." And yes, they played it, but it wasn't the only song that the crowd knew. With the exception of the new songs a good majority of the audience were familiar with most of the set. The Deal sisters were having a great time on stage. It's always nice to see artists enjoying themselves. So, even though I wasn't familiar with their music I definitely enjoyed the performance. Along with the performance of the guy in front of me who used his hands and arms in a sort of interpretive "dance." Of course, he lost a couple performance art points because he was holding his "blackberry" in his left hand. Nerd.
