Little Dragon is an electronic/dance music quartet originally from Gothenburg, Sweden. Members consist of Yukimi Nagano, Erik Bodin, Fredrik Wallin, and Hakan Wirenstrand. The group was formed by front woman Yukimi Nagano with her close high school friends, and they released their first EP in 2006, and have released two albums since then: Little Dragon in 2007, and Machine Dreams in 2009.

Little Dragon seems to be heavily into the artistic and creative component of their music. They've released several music videos, all of which are extremely creative and thought out. "After the Rain" combines animation and real images in a stop motion sketch, and "Twice" uses a stick figure/puppet effect. "Twice" was also featured on season 5 of Grey's Anatomy.

The sound is very loungey, albeit very creative and playful . It reminded me of something models would walk to in a fashion show. It is electronic, but even the faster paced songs have a very relaxed vibe to it. This makes it nice to listen to recorded, but also made for a very energetic live performance. In person the vibe was very upbeat and exciting, with people dancing and everyone seeming to have a great time.
