San Diego band Northern Towns came on strong from the start.  When there's a band member tattooed from neck to fingers, you know they mean business.  This was just the guitarist.  Singer Daniel Sant had arms full of ink as well.  He wore a hat similar to one of the guitarists, both giving off an indie air.  The band was jumping up and down from the first song.   Sant brought on heavy punk vocals and the songs were fairly rough and grating.  There was a gradual change toward something more pure punk, but on the fourth they returned to the same tone as the first.  The rest of the songs continued to carry the same energy they initially brought.  After all the songs were done you could say that they gave a full effort and were a decent second opener for The Strikers.
