Vegan food, board games like anti-monopoly, and located in a small building with trees all around, what is not to like about the Che Cafe?  Oh, that's right, it is currently not having any shows.  The world is against this non-hierarchical run venue in UCSD.  The school has tried to shut them down, and now their insurance provider has denied their coverage without giving a reason.  Something is in the works for new insurance though, so we must hold our breaths until then.  Great bands, and many unknowns play at this all age venue.  The Che Cafe overall is about "all-ages shows, vegan food, radical [progressive, leftist] politics and organic gardening."
