I actually saw Rush twice. Both times were here and somehow free, so I cant complain. Definitly not an intimant place. But who wants to get intimant with Rush? Gross, not me.

Rise Against (1) 7/10/2009

I've become quite familiar with Rise Against over the last five months. Before then it was just the hits that I heard on the radio. I like what I heard mind you, but after listening to the last three albums I was pleased to find that the albums are... Full Review

Rancid (1) 7/10/2009

Opening Act For Rise Against
Rancid gained some mainstream notoriety in the early nineties with a couple songs that were "hits", Ruby Soho and Time Bomb, both of which they played. One of the interesting parts of the show was when they played a song completely acoustic... Full Review

Coldplay (1) 7/16/2009

[Coldplay]
Stretched on the lawn, taking in the warm, spiced air, I felt elated as I awaited Coldplay’s symphonic melodies. The crowd buzzed with electric chatter, sharing their favorite Coldplay songs, describing their long road trips to get to Cricket, and partaking... Full Review

Paramore (1) 5/22/2009

Opening Act For No Doubt
[Paramore]
Paramore is cool. They’re legit. They’re good. Probably wouldn’t see them as a headliner, but I enjoyed the show. They got this really great pop sound that doesn’t make you feel like a 12-year-old girl when you listen to it. The harsh, spine tingling... Full Review

The Sounds (1) 5/22/2009

Opening Act For NO Doubt
[The Sounds]
The Sounds have everything going for them except – well – their sound. They have an excellent image – a hot lady lead and even hotter gentlemen musicians, and lots of talent, but after their third song I began feel like I heard them somewhere before.... Full Review

No Doubt (1) 5/22/2009

[No Doubt]
Gwen was everything you ever imagined her to be at Cricket. My senses had been dulled by the time she got on – I was cold, the previous two bands were boring – and I was beginning to get annoyed. But like Mom always said, “Patience is a virtue,” and friggin... Full Review

Jane's Addiction (1) 5/16/2009

[Which way is the moon?]
Jane's Addiction is one of my favorite rock bands...ever. All four of their albums are rock solid. Speaking of which, it was interesting that they didn't play one song off of Strays. It's a great album. I didn't feel gypped though. It... Full Review

Nine Inch Nails (1) 5/16/2009

This was the first time I'd seen Nine Inch Nails in concert. I've been a fan for quite sometime since buying their debut album Pretty Hate Machine back in the late 80's. It's one of a handful of albums that would be considered my all time... Full Review

Opening Act For Jane's Addiction
I didn't realize there was an opening band until we heard the news on the radio just before pulling into the parking lot. Sure enough, we could hear some rock music as we made our way into the venue around 7:40pm. Once inside and twelve dollars poorer... Full Review

Radiohead (1) 8/27/2008

[I can now say I'm a fan.]
My original introduction to Radiohead was back in the early nineties when "Creep" became a hit. One summer during the buzz of this band I was in San Diego (on vacation from Florida) and bought the album "Pablo Honey." I remember being... Full Review

John Mayer (1) 7/29/2008

[Surprisingly good show by John Mayer]
Took my wife to this show for our wedding anniversary. I wasn't too excited about it. I like his music, but never really liked it too much. Kinda lumped him into the Jack Johnson or Dave Mathews genre which is really good but not stuff I get really... Full Review
