Rancid gained some mainstream notoriety in the early nineties with a couple songs that were "hits", Ruby Soho and Time Bomb, both of which they played. One of the interesting parts of the show was when they played a song completely acoustic, Harry Bridges. (I've got a picture of it) This was a bit surprising, but a good one. So, while I wouldn't call myself a fan, I certainly enjoyed seeing them play live.
