A buddy of mine had an extra ticket to go see Ratt and I figured I'd buy it from him and check it out.  LA Guns opened up and much to my surprise they still sounded pretty good.  I don't know too many of LA Guns songs but I remember them well. Ratt being the headliner really lit it up.  With Carlos Cavazos the former lead guitarist of Quiet Riot next to the other original lead guitarist it was an impressive show of trading off leads and great guitar work in general.  They played classic songs such as Lay it Down, Way Cool Jr., and Round and Round it was a pretty long and diverse show of their music.  I did not expect to be much impressed but both bands played well and it was a blast from the past reminding me of my Jr. High days in the early 80's.
