You know when you go to a party at someone’s house and a band is playing from the neighborhood. Well, that’s what this felt like. It was obvious that almost everyone in the crowd knew the band, including someone’s mom who was working the merch booth. It was literally a booth, like in a restaurant. There style is a little bit Pop Punk with a twist of Ska. My initial thought was they sounded a bit like Sublime and my impression was confirmed a few songs later when they covered “Santeria.” They also did a Johnny Cash cover “Ring of Fire” that I thought was pretty cool. It was entertaining to watch the drummer because his head bobbed up and down like nobody’s business.
