Fourteen-year-old (minus a three year absence) Molotov is a Mexican rock and hip hop band that was almost banned from Mexico for their use of politics, sex and expletives in their music.  All of the music is in Spanish except sometimes when the drummer Randy "El Gringo Loco" Ebright sings,  who is the only American born of the band.  During an aggressive part there was a brief mosh pit.  On the second song, the bassist's strap fell and a man scrambled over to fix it with another and then a new bass was brought.  Before he was given the bass, he played some air bass.

Though the band was not very active on stage, they had the crowd reacting well, even jumping around on the next song.  The bass sound that rattled my ears through the earplugs might have had something to do with the crowd's heightened enjoyment.  Some tried to crowd surf but these acts were short lived.  The songs were getting to sound too similar and be too repetitive but the audience still loved it.

Before the fifth song a band member yelled out, "Spanish!" and the crowd wooed out of the usual need to get excited for whatever reason.  The bassist on the left side of the stage threw his left over water into the crowd, hopefully as a kind gesture, but it landed right on the camera of the man stood  beside me unfortunately.  A few songs later they played a stand out one called "Frijolero" which was much more interesting than most of their music.  One of the singers smoked while he played.  The next one was some kind of "Rock Me Amadeus" rip-off.

There were more crowd surfings as time went on, with only one of them caught.  The last song had a beat box intro from the drummer and was called "Put@", causing the crowd to call the expletive as well.  The drummer threw out his sticks at the end and the some cried, "Otro!"  For what they are, they do it well and get a crowd going, but I personally wish they did more songs like "Frijolero".  Oh well.
