Introduced by an announcer woman who seemed to change clothes and strange hats at every appearance, all girl band Bitter Sober's front woman, Sherry Soto did a beat box intro.  Theoretically corny, it worked well and would return later.  Soto was wearing jeans and a t-shirt with a piano key designed belt, perhaps purchased at Hot Topic and a blue sleeveless hoodie over her head that she kept on the whole set.  Immediately after her intro came a solid indie rock and pop song that came out swinging with some nice catchy beats.

The next song was just as dynamic and well done.  The rest of the music would not top these two songs unfortunately, but most were still very good.  The only problem was sometimes the music was not as great as what Soto put out vocally, though just enough to notice.  After a song that was again introduced by Soto's beat boxing, they played another that began with an apparently accidental sound that luckily went away quickly.  This song had no real climax, but the singing made up for that fact.  She put down the guitar for the next song and just sang, but returned to it on the following one for a mellow, but slow building song that was a nice change of pace.

After one last beat box session, the final song had Soto calling for crowd participation.  She instructed people to sing out "oh oh oh" and after one weak practice run she gave up on the crowd and started the song.  If she had patience and tried again a couple times, it might have turned out better than the replica of the poor practice.  The song was still good and after finishing she thanked everyone on a turned off microphone, but those paying attention knew she appreciated the support which this engaging band deserves.
