Sono Clip is a Latin and Spanish Pop band made up of six members from Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Mexico. They played early in the day at the Main Stage in front of a very small crowd. The woman announcer in her Viking helmet gave them a warm introduction and they began. The songs were all light and fun. There was a guitar solo on the second one that was announced by the apparent leader of the band who said, "Carlos from Venezuela." After the song he explained their music was cha cha mixed with pop adding that this was all they bring from Venezuela and Brazil. On the third song the pretty boy of the band in his plain green shirt and jeans was waving his hands in the air to get the handful attending to follow his lead. The song was not bad, but the green shirt man's actions, combined with his and the other singer's large headsets made it seem like they were used to big crowds and were acting as if they had one. The fifth song was described as ska from Venezuela which was "almost composed by the drummer". The band leader pulled out a trumpet and played, pushing him a couple steps above the other singer who only banged on a metal cylinder for a song or two that could not even be heard. They made a foolish and failed attempt to get the crowd to participate and sing "oooh" parts, but there were far too little people to pull off the act.The sixth and last song, En El Bar, was from their first video and single. There was a silly part where the lead singer plugged his nose and sang funny. It was catchy pop, though nothing amazing. They never aimed to be amazing, different, or life changing though. They play good Latin pop and that is enough to be listened to and enjoyed.
