I don't have many nice things to say about this artist, so I'll do my best to keep it short.
Marina was on stage with a guitar and she sang some songs. Some songs were fast, some slow, all were boring. I ended up wandering to the neighboring stage after her fourth attempt to entertain.
During the seven minutes I chose to watch her, I happened to stumble across some wisdom.
1.) Smiling a lot does not make up for one's lack of stage presence.
2.) Even if talented, an artist must always strive to be creative. One without the other is a broken present.
3.) The singer/songwriter vibe women guitarists are constantly trying to redo is so over. As of now, the feminist/hippie image is over and artists would be more respected if they acted like it was the 21st century.
In sum, I'm not a fan.
